The default policy allows barge-in when the browser reports echo cancellation. Without that support, automatic admission waits for playback to end.

## Web search
Open **Settings → Modules → Web Search**, select **Tavily** or **DeepSeek**, enter that service's API key, and enable search.
Tavily is the default. Each service keeps its own device-local key when you switch services.
These credentials are independent of the chat provider. Any chat model that supports tool calls can use the selected search service.
Resetting settings clears both keys and restores Tavily with search disabled.
DeepSeek uses the [Search API](https://api-docs.deepseek.com/zh-cn/api/search/).
Queries accept 1–128 Unicode characters and support operators such as `site:` and `after:`.
The tool requests five results by default, with a maximum of ten. It uses summaries without fetching full pages.
Results retain source links and site icons in the existing search cards. Search requests time out after 15 seconds and stop when the turn stops.
An API error fails the tool call without switching services. Use another search service when your network cannot reach the selected endpoint.
## Chat sampling
In **Settings → Modules → Consciousness**, custom temperature and Top P are off
