* Simplify and clean up Makefile

* Update Makefile

This fixes the `test` command and deploys assets to Teleport

* Stop removing `dist` before building

initialize teleport submodules after cloning

* Remove build artifacts, such as teleport

* Fetch submodule updates before updating
