* Use cmp.Equal instead of manual Equals methods
Equals methods can get out-of-sync with the fields added in structs they
compare. Using `cmp.Equal` handles that, removes a ton of code and makes
it more explicit when specific fields are excluded from comparison.
* Use gogoproto equal plugin for comparing proto values
This will be faster than reflect-based go-cmp.
Several improvements:
- show a QR code in the system image viewer
- print an OTP URL in addition to individual fields (some apps accept
that as input)
- use cluster name as `Issuer` instead of "Teleport"
For some resource kinds, `tctl get` used to always return the list of
all resources of that kind, irrespective of whether a specific resource
name was given in the argument to `tctl get`.
For instance, `tctl get node/node-id` would have always listed all the
nodes (just like mere `tctl get node`).
Here, all `tctl get` handlers are adjusted to filter by name when a name
is provided as part of the input ref.
- Preserve login time with WebSession when user first creates a web session to derive
"default" expiry when user wants to switch back
- Change the signature of ExtendWebSession to accept a
NewWebSessionRequest struct that contains session information
- Create renewSessionRequest object to read from web request for endpoint renewSession
- Endpoint now also returns SessionExpires time that is used as countdown in UI
Load access requests from SSH cert instead of the profile. The profile
only exists on CLI clients, but not in the proxy.
Note: theoretically, SSH cert may be missing in some cases for CLI
clients. We should eventually encode access requests in TLS certs too,
which are always present.
Cluster name can be missing in profiles created by older tsh versions.
Trying to load the client.Key without a cluster name now causes a
failure when using WithAllCerts (because ssh/db/kube certs are
per-cluster).
Also added some output to `tsh status` when no profiles can be loaded.
```diff
~/.tsh/
│ ├── certs.pem --> TLS CA certs for the Teleport CA
When `-J` is provided, this also loads/reissues the SSH cert for the cluster associated with the jumphost's certificate. Fixes#5637.
By specifying `device_attestation_cas` in `teleport.yaml`, admins can
restrict U2F device manufacturers. For example, specifying the yubico
attestation CA
(https://developers.yubico.com/U2F/yubico-u2f-ca-certs.txt), you can
restrict users to only yubikeys.
Example error when using the yubico CA and trying to register a Google
Titan key:
```
$ tsh mfa add --type u2f --name test && tsh mfa rm test
Tap any *registered* security key
Tap your *new* security key
ERROR: rpc error: code = InvalidArgument desc = U2F device attestation certificate is signed by "CN=Security Key,O=Google", but this cluster only accepts certificates from ["CN=Yubico U2F Root CA Serial 457200631"]; make sure you're using a U2F device from a trusted manufacturer
```
* Added support for connecting API client through tunnel proxy and web proxy addresses (with identity file).
* Added concurrent dialing logic to dial several possible dialing combinations and seamlessly return the first client to connect.
Fixes#5352
```yaml
allow:
impersonate:
users: ['alice', 'bob']
roles: ['*']
where: 'contains(user.spec.traits["groups"], impersonate_role.traits)'
```
Adds "impersonator" to all X.509 and SSH client certs
issued using impersonation and does best effort to track
requests by impersonators in audit events.
Limits certs TTL to the impersonator's max session TTL.
Prevents impersonating users to recursively impersonate
other users.
Allows impersonating users to renew their own certificate,
for example to set route to cluster.
Adds missing token permission for editor role.
* mfa: add cluster-level require_session_mfa option
Users may choose to require MFA for all sessions in some clusters, or
only on select roles in others.
This PR adds the cluster-level option in the `auth_service` config.
To expose this field to non-auth services, opened up `GetAuthPreference`
access over the auth API, including all the cache plumbing.
