The httpOnly-cookie auth refactor changed generateSalt and the token
endpoints to object responses, and the device dashboard wrapper now
carries device_id as a query parameter; the stale mocks, assertions,
and snapshots never ran on CI because earlier gate layers failed
first. Update them to the current contracts.
