James Taylor 610b7678da cellxgene GIE: use API to get datasets. 
No longer requires volume mounts, so useable on main. Also updates to
latest version of cellxgene in container.

This uses the same approach as in ethercalc, so I moved the `keepAlive` method
into the `interactive_environments` package for reuse.
