Threads

A thread is the smallest unit of execution within a Java process that allows a program to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. It represents an independent path of execution that shares the same memory space as other threads within the same application. Java manages these threads through the Thread class or by implementing the Runnable interface, enabling developers to execute background operations concurrently without blocking the main application flow.
