Spline

A spline is a piecewise polynomial curve defined by multiple segments that connect smoothly at their joining points. In games, splines are used to define camera paths, character motion trajectories, and procedural level geometry. The continuity at join points, described as C0, C1, or C2, determines how smoothly the segments meet.
