## Summary Follow-up to [coder/terraform-provider-coder#549](https://github.com/coder/terraform-provider-coder/pull/549), which un-deprecated `coder_agent.dir`. The 2.29-2.34 ESR upgrade guide still says `dir` is deprecated, warns, and breaks Coder Desktop file sync, and tells admins to set it to `$HOME`. As planned in #549, this keeps the original row as history and appends an **Update** to the New State and Action cells: - Coder Terraform provider 2.20.0 removed the deprecation and warning. - Coder Desktop file sync works with any `dir` on macOS [v0.8.4](https://github.com/coder/coder-desktop-macos/releases/tag/v0.8.4) and Windows [v0.8.5](https://github.com/coder/coder-desktop-windows/releases/tag/v0.8.5) (Mutagen v0.18.5, [coder/mutagen#10](https://github.com/coder/mutagen/pull/10)). The rest of the diff is `markdown-table-formatter` re-padding the table. `markdownlint-cli2` passes. ## Merge timing Opened as a draft. #549 is only in `v2.20.0-pre0` so far; mark ready and merge once provider 2.20.0 is published to the registry.
