The suite had not actually run in CI since 2026-09-16; after restoring collection, 40 tests failed across environment drift and stale stubs: - conftest: set _TYPER_FORCE_DISABLE_TERMINAL before typer loads; GITHUB_ACTIONS=true forces rich colors and the option highlighter splits --option tokens with inline ANSI codes, breaking substring assertions on help/error output - docvortex_routing: mocks provide page_count/page_size required by docvortex 0.4.9 extract_layout_geometry - parser_api_contract / doclib_app_startup: pin small_backend=torch so tier dependency and model-repo assertions hold in torch-free envs - doclib_interface_contract: expand fastapi>=0.141 _IncludedRouter wrappers before asserting route name/path contracts - parser_api_ocr: accept click 8.5 "No such option '--x'" wording - doclib_app_startup UDS: control path identities explicitly; linux reuses freed inodes so stat-based identity flipping was unreliable - doclib_telemetry_core: _Result stub provides the middle_json shape required by post-write source metadata backfill
