Next Steps

Immediate Actions (Task 19 - LLM Service Layer)

  1. Create Base LLM Adapter Interface

    # services/llm/base_adapter.py
    from abc import ABC, abstractmethod

    class BaseLLMAdapter(ABC):
        @abstractmethod
        async def complete(self, prompt: str, **kwargs) -> dict:
            pass

        @abstractmethod
        async def stream(self, prompt: str, **kwargs):
            pass

  2. Implement LLM Factory

    # services/llm/factory.py
    class LLMFactory:
        _adapters = {}

        @classmethod
        def register(cls, name: str, adapter_class):
            cls._adapters[name] = adapter_class

        @classmethod
        def create(cls, provider: str) -> BaseLLMAdapter:
            return cls._adapters[provider]()

  3. Implement Priority Adapters

    • OpenAI (most common)
    • Gemini (default)
    • Claude (popular alternative)
  4. Add Caching Layer

    • Use existing Redis infrastructure
    • Implement cache key generation
    • Add TTL management

Immediate Actions (Task 22 - Authentication)

  1. Create Auth Endpoints

    # api/v1/auth.py
    @router.post("/register")
    async def register(user_data: UserCreate):
        # Implementation
        pass

    @router.post("/login")
    async def login(credentials: LoginRequest):
        # Implementation
        pass

  2. Implement Token Management

    • Access token generation
    • Refresh token handling
    • Token blacklisting
  3. Add Password Reset

    • Email integration
    • Reset token generation
    • Secure reset flow

Dependencies

External Services Required

  • ✅ PostgreSQL (configured)
  • ✅ Redis (configured)
  • ✅ MinIO/S3 (configured)
  • ⏳ Email service (for password reset)
  • ⏳ LLM API keys (for providers)

Infrastructure Ready

  • ✅ Connection pooling
  • ✅ Circuit breakers
  • ✅ Monitoring
  • ✅ Logging
  • ✅ Tracing

Risks and Mitigation

Risk 1: LLM API Costs

Mitigation:

  • Implement aggressive caching
  • Set cost limits per user
  • Monitor usage closely

Risk 2: Rate Limiting

Mitigation:

  • Connection pooling already implemented
  • Per-provider rate limits configured
  • Fallback strategies in place

Risk 3: Async Task Complexity

Mitigation:

  • Celery infrastructure ready
  • Task monitoring implemented
  • Retry logic configured
